Longevity of ‘UltraLight’ is dependent on several factors:

• The use of approved salon recommended shampoos and conditioners
• Your choice of hair colour (black and brown have a greater longevity than blonde as they are subject to reduced processing)
• Frequent rubbing (this can cause the ‘UltraLight’ to shed its hair quicker)
• Use of box dyes and sulfates

When maintained correctly ‘UltraLight’ can last between 12 – 24 months.

When not in use, UltraStrands advise you store your ‘UltraLight’ in the pouch provided to support longevity. If your UltraLight topper is left unused for a considerable time frame conditioning it every four to six weeks and leaving it to air dry before storing will also improve its lifespan.
